They arrived in Bagan on the evening of 9th by plane and on 10th they started visiting and studying quite a number of pagodas , and temples, and lacquerware workshop there. Since Bagan has a lot of ancient pagodas and temples, visiting well known pagodas and temples took two days for them to have a glimpse of the history and architecture of Bagan. They all arrived back Yangon in the evening of 11th and departed Yangon on 12th February. The participants are from the Fine Arts department, Thailand; Cambodia; SEAMEO SPAFA and SEAMEO SEN. Though the participants gave good remarks on the programme, SEAMEO CHAT is trying to make some better arrangements on the lectures as well as the fieldtrip and hope that more and more interested persons in Myanmar history will join the annual programme in the coming years.
